Society Organization
Around 30% of the world population has some mental health problem, which might shows that the organization of our society is not working properly for 1/3 of the globe.
Inequalities in health is a topic well known: richest have a lot better health than the poorest. However 'The Black Report' (1980), 'Acheson Report' (1998) and 'The Marmot Review' (2010) are very good documents that explain how inequalities in health works and how affects society, effective solutions are still not available. Even among countries that try to diminish finantial inequalities (Sweden, Norway and Denmark for example), the inequalities in health although smaller, still remains an important gap.
So, some questions:
- Who wins with the maintenance of health inequities?
- How to tackle it?
- How many free hours a week people have to do what they really WANT to do?
- How the ammount of hours spent in the work place interfere inside the family and community?
- What is the time that people have to spend around nature?
- Is it important? Would it interfere in a sustainable world?
- How can we organize a better and enjoyable world where people don't get so mentaly ill?
Have fun!
